She asked me for a smallish flying pig, on the chubby side. The lady it’s going to owns a shop here in Sidney. She said her friend likes the opera, so perhaps a tutu, and she wondered if it could have a garland that could maybe be removable and finally, she wanted her to be a happy pig. Fortunately I had some pink minky fabric in my stash.
This is Hazel. Not sure if the name will stay, but she’s Hazel to me. She measures about 9” from the end of her cork screw tail to the tip of her ladylike snout.

When Pigs Fly
On Friday a lady came into my friends shop and spotted my version of Deanna Hogan’s “Old World Santa” and just fell in love with it. I’m glad because he is pretty cute. He might have become one of my decorations if he hadn’t sold. Just one more Santa to go, I hope he finds a good home just in the Saint Nick of Time.. Okay that was pretty lame, sorry about that. The lady then asked my friend if I could call as she wanted to have something made. This is the result.
