I've been requesting snow every year for so long I've lost track. This year it's happened. There's still a chance it'll snow on Christmas day, but we've certainly got our share of it now. We don't often get this kind of snow and after shoveling it for the last couple of days, we have a little break in it. Good thing because we're running out of places to put it.
The snow didn't miss a beat. We no sooner cleared off the vehicles, the driveway and the sidewalk....and here it comes again.
After the first shoveling off snow, we went off for a walk to enjoy the scenery. This is going through the park area behind us.
Benches here and there in the seniors mobile home park are a welcome site, but this solitary bench will be without any visitors for a while.
The smallest of branches can hold a big pile of snow but don't stand underneath if someone is about to shake the tree.
Doesn't this just remind you of the Christmas tree from Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase... That was one big tree...
A Merry Christmas to all of you. If you don't celebrate the season, that's okay to, enjoy the time in your own way. From our house to yours Happy Holidays.
and PS.... too bad I couldn't fix that one set of lights at the top of the house, but I would probably have turned into a human snowball while rolling down the roof if I had tried. I'll be back in a few days for more of crafty Christmas doings.....
OH, what beautiful pictures, Ro! I'm so glad you finally got your wish for snow at Christmas ~ :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely. I know those who get this all the time will think I'm crazy, but the last white Christmas we had was 10 years ago, so I'll take it... ;O))) Ro
