Thread Catchers

In keeping with my New Years promise, I'm pressing on to clear up and organize. This week I've started with making thread catchers. Why I've never done them before is beyond me, they are such a great thing for all sewers and other crafters to have nearby. I have one for each machine. I actually did have a kit for one that I bought years ago and what did I do with it, shove it in a drawer with the promise of "I will do that soon" and then promptly went onto other things.

Andrea that owns our local fabric store, Fabric Traders, is such a creative person. She's been making up monthly projects and making them into kits, just the thing for a busy person. So, along with the thread catcher that was unceremoniously shoved into that drawer, I got a new kit from Andrea and along with some of my own fabric I made these up. Today I hope to get one or two other projects done. That pile is getting smaller and smaller....what a treat. Keep watching this space.
