Give Peace a Chance

Watching and listening to all the information about the upcoming election in the US has been a serious wake up call. Burying the head in the sand is not an option.

If I’ve learned anything at all, it’s to say what you think and when you think it. Be assertive in your thoughts but not aggressive, big difference. It’s okay to agree to disagree and remain friends. Don’t be caught up in the political games that are developed to create those rifts between you.

I found a couple of things in a daily newsletter that I thought were just perfect. You may think they are goofy or roll your eyes at them, and think, oh god, she’s off on another rant, but that’s okay too.

Remember John Lennon’s song, “Give Peace a Chance”. That’s what I think this election is about for you in the US. This is a turning point in your history.

Trust is a big thing, but don’t be afraid to try going in a different direction. The one you’re going in, isn’t working. This is what you might see on voting day, what a great way to send a message and give peace a chance. Wishing you all the best.
