Tea Wreath

I just love creative people. They are so interesting. I went to the tea shop today to talk to the shop owner about my dolls that I keep there. During the conversation my eyes drifted over to these wreaths. I right away formed a relationship to this one, so it came off the wall so nobody else could lay claim to it. Okay so a wreath is a wreath is a wreath.... Hmm, not so with this one.

If you look at all those little brown and white pouches on there, what do you suppose those are for...???? Give up !!!!! What else could they be....but little pouches to put samples of tea in. Each of those little pouches has a different kind of tea in it. It's an advent wreath, so starting on the 1st of December and up to the 24th, you get to try a different tea each day. Now how cool is that. And as luck would have it, a customer came in and wanted one as well but she wanted all herbal tea, so guess who got 15 more little packets of tea for free because Janet wasn't going to be filling anymore wreaths.

The best part is that next year, I can take the wreath in and Janet will refill it for me with samples again. Now what could be better. We did something similar last year. A lady did some advent boards for her, and she attached 24 samples of tea. Each one we like we keep the little zip lock bag and we know which teas to ask for next time we need to stock up.... So what do you think??? Isn't this a great idea. I just have to give a shout out to the lady who made the wreaths. I have no idea who you are, except that I know you are local. I applaud you given that you face a difficult life of being bi-polar and anyone who knows someone who has to cope with that day in and day out, knows just how difficult that is. So, if I had a hat, I would tip it and congratulate you for such a wonderful addition to my decorations this year. Thank you...
