A Spring Morning

So here it is. A nice spring morning calling me to go out and play. Hmmmm, good thing I'm off to work, because this is definately not a play day. As I type this, it appears that the flakes have stopped or have at least changed to wet version called rain. The wind is picking up and that's always nice, sideways rain....great...Yesterday was the warm up, wind - rain - hail- and snow. This snowy weather is what I would have preferred at Christmas, not when I'm starting my spring time holidays tomorrow...
I told you I'm a sceptic about this whole Global Warming thing. Someone out there is making a killing on this theory. Personally I think it's Mother Earth pitching a fit, due to the onset of dementia that we have imposed on her because of how we mistreat her. Maybe with Earth Day approaching in the next 3 days, we could keep in mind ways of reducing, reusing and recycling to help her do her job.......My poor tulips that are not sheltered, are laying down on the grass weeping, the daffodils are trying to shake this heavy stuff off their pretty petals, and all the neighbourhood cats are keeping well behind closed doors, all tucked away in some warm cozy corner, and yes, I have the wood stove on this morning to...ah, the joys of Winter.... that should read, Spring!!!!....

  1. Personally, I do believe Global Warming is a real problem due directly to our abuse of the planet in general. I did recently watch a You Tube video that really put it into perspective and it makes no difference if you believe or don't believe Global Warming is a problem. He puts it in logical terms of risk management. I'll email you the link, Ro.

Your pic makes me want to go back to bed and snuggle up nice and warm. We're currently in our Autumn heading towards winter and our nights and mornings are starting to get a little cooler now. We had a very mild summer here which was lovely but so not the norm.

  2. Hi Serena,
I know it's hard to know who to believe about global warming. There are two schools of thought, one that says it's because of the way we are mistreating the earth and all the pollutants etc., the others that say it's a natural occurance, that the earth is purging itself, for lack of a better expression and both groups make compelling and convincing arguments....Looking forward to the link. Why not post it to your blog for Earth Day?? Ro
