Beads Beads Beads

It's time to confess. My name is Romona and I'm a beadaholic. I had to show you something that I think is just the best thing to come along for beaders. Now of course I have no idea if something better exists, but I'm really enjoying this and in my never ending quest to get organized, I am always on the prowl for "organizers" for everything, but only those that make complete sense. I get a beading newsletter and about 3 weeks ago, this was advertised as something whose time had come for beaders. It's called the "Bead Pavillion". It comes in various sizes and you can order extra parts to keep adding to it. I think of it as the cadillac of equipment to organize beads. In the first picture you can see the trays with the inserts, the little flip tops you put on once you fill the containers, and I bought some extra long ones for those bead soups.
Sigh....so now we move on to my beads. I spent the better part of a day sorting and filling and bagging up empty plastic bead containers to toss into the recycling box. What I'm left with is all my beads beautifully organized so that now I can see exactly what it is I have, instead of that incessant pulling out of boxes to to find something. Even though boxes are labelled, how many times do we actually put things back in their exact spot. I would venture to guess not as often as we should. In the second picture you can see the four trays now filled with beads, tops on and neatly inserted into the stand. I have filled the long tubes mostly with bead soups and a couple have other beads to big to put in the shorter tubes as they would fill those up to fast. The smaller box you see is from Joggles and I confess a while ago I bought one of Barb's bead samplers and was very pleased with that. There are still a few bottles of beads as you can see, but they all fit in the bucket with the long tubes, so nothing is scattered around.
The next picture is of the beads that are at the back of the trays. I took the trays out and turned them around so you can see the rest. I even put those little micro beads in the tubes. You know those beads, the ones that practically explode when you open the container they originally came in...Yes, those ones...pure misery. I would hope that the manufacturers will come up with a better container for those...
The last picture is just to show you one of the trays taken out of the stand so you can visualize better what they are like. They slide in and out with no trouble. You can quickly pull out what you need. There is no fussing around, and when you replace them, you can see immediately where they belong if you took the time to organize them in size and style of beads.... To say I am pleased with this, is an understatement. It's a perfect soloution for beaders and seeing exactly what I have right away, prevents me from repeatly buying what I already have... Here is the link if you would like to be tempted.... I'm so weak... Enjoy and please share with me if you end up with a Pavillion as well. Bead Pavillion
